I love this movie by and starring Mel Brooks. It spoofs Alfred Hitchcock’s films. Little did I know when I first saw it (when I was much younger) that I would come to relate to it too well and not in a funny way! With PTSD and Generalized Anxiety Disorder, anxiety is no longer a laughing matter. But, perhaps a bit of humor will relieve some of my anxiety today.
This picture sure shows what it feels like.
This is where I think I am headed some days! (No disrespect intended for actual psych wards and patients since I have been there and done that.)
I feel a little bit better now. 🙂 Thanks Mel Brooks!
