After decades of writing yards of journals, I decided that I wanted to tell my story and to reach others — those that share and/or  are interested in the challenges of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and other mental disorders such as depression, anxiety or DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder).  As I’ve collected material from other blogs, I find that I  want to advocate and educate for and about those of us that suffer. I also want to inform people of the long term consequences of abuse.  So often I am told “its in the past – get on with your life”.  (Sigh. It’s not bad enough being screwed up, but comments like that make us feel ashamed.)  Most of us who have been abused would love to forget about our past and just get on with our lives; but, unfortunately humans are not made that way. I would also like this blog to be a safe place to share and so I welcome comments.

If you are interested in my story please see “Archives” and start  in July 2015 with “Hello,  Anyone Out There?” and “Background”.
