Hear The Children’s Cries As They Are Separated From Parents Seeking Asylum At US SW Border

Thanks to the media outlet Propublica, we have access to the above video. Please be aware that the sound of the children’s wailing as they are being separated from their parents seeking asylum at the US southwest border, are heartbreaking.

This is a new protocol that was started with President Donald Trump’s Attorney General Jeff Sessions with his April 6, 2018 memo. As per Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), the president can end this practice of separating children from the parents with one phone call. Telling the migrants to apply for asylum at the US designated points of entry is not a realistic direction as most peoples are being turned away. There are stories about peoples waiting weeks to gain entry.

As per international law, it is NOT illegal for peoples fleeing danger, persecution, war like circumstances, to ask for asylum.

Any other republican talking point other than the above…

  1. You know, most of the right-leaning persuasion say these parents are cowards for bringing their children here. But our Stefanie Kavitha was adopted from India. Her mother, Pushpa, couldn’t take care of her. Stef was seven when she came to us. I can think of no other more difficult thing to do that give up a child or try to do what’s best for them. It takes a parent of rare courage to put their child’s welfare first. And that’s what these folks want – liberation from the violence and safety for their kids.

  2. Yes, AG Sessions wrote a memo, but my sources tell me the actual legislation was signed into law by George W Bush & Sessions merely wanted all laws upheld.
If my sources are correct, one of the reasons GW signed this was because a significant number of the kids being brought into our country illegally were not with their parents – I’ve heard that as many as 90% were with their biological parents.
Obama upheld this law & we’ve recently seen photos from 2014 (though MSM claimed they were from now – if they wanted to sell that, they should have removed the date marker) of caged kids lying on mats on the floor… Trump has much better settings for them.
The article is correct when it says, “As per international law, it is NOT illegal for peoples fleeing danger, persecution, war like circumstances, to ask for asylum.” Only problem is that they are supposed to seek asylum in the first safe country, for those coming from Honduras, this would be Mexico. Yet they don’t seek asylum there, in fact, they don’t even stop in at any of the US Consulates , where they could get immigration proceedings started … To the best of my knowledge, there are 10 of those scattered through Mexico, and there is at least one in Honduras, itself! Thus, the big question is why they aren’t trying to enter our country the legal way. IF they went to a consulate, and were approved, our government would help them, instead many pay mega bucks to traffickers.
